Becomes Mission Man's most viewed video

Mission Man had no prior experience with 3D graphics before creating this video, and the only animation experience he had was with Flash, back in 2002 when he created the Official Music Video for "You Gotta Want It." Gary recalls his experience creating that music video, saying, "There were some things I couldn't figure out, such as properly giving myself shoes, or keeping my legs about me when shooting pool in the video." From a technical standpoint, the only aspect that carried over from his previous video experience was keyframes and tweening.

"Everything else I had to learn myself," he explains. "I created the first part of the music video in DAZ 3D Studio, and knew nothing about it. I simply played around, and read tutorials when I needed to figure out how to do something specific." The biggest issue Mission Man had creating the animation, "clothes. I couldn't figure out how to give the characters clothes that would move fluidly with the characters. Hence the near nudity. People asked me if anyone wore clothes on Liberty Island, and I told them no for two reasons. One was the technical reason, and the other is that they're on an island, where it's warm, and more importantly, no one is judged by their appearance."

When asked how long it took to create the video, Mission Man told us, "4 months from start to finish. I have no idea how many total hours I put into making it, though. I can tell you that I used a free 30 day trial of Carrara to create the concert scene, so that month I was working on the video for several hours every day. I'm thrilled with how it turned out!"

One fan asked what all the spinning at the end of the video was about. "The power of fans," Mission Man replied. Then he elaborated, "It's hard to tell, but 4 fans are actually creating an infinite loop in the form of a Mobius strip, which is the inspiration for the infinity symbol. Without the fans, music is still beautiful and pure, but when fans become involved, songs take on an entire new life. Even a small group of passionate fans can create a powerful energy which is impossible to achieve without them."

The video has exceeded 2,000 views, becoming the first of Mission Man's videos to do so. It is currently Mission Man's most popular video.
